Welcome

My name is Marta. I am a qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Vocal Sound Therapy. The treatments I offer are acupuncture, electro- acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, ancillary therapies such as guasha, moxibustion and cupping, Chinese therapeutic massage (Tui Na), and vocal sound healing.

Our human body is a masterpiece of Mother Nature with an incredible capacity to heal. Our modern lifestyle and frequent exposure to stress can cause dissociation from that healing potential and the connection to ourselves and our body. Our most natural state is one of absolute wellbeing and I have made it my mission to assist everyone who seeks my help to find the best way for them to achieve this.

If you would like to learn more about how I may help you, I offer a free 15-20 minute telephone consultation with no obligation. Feel free to contact me for more details and to discuss if these therapies are appropriate for your condition and to decide if I am the right practitioner for you.

About me

My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) started back in 2009 through practicing and teaching traditional Yang family style of Tai Chi and Chinese Health Qigong. I went on to study acupuncture and graduated first class from the City College of Acupuncture in London.

Using Chinese Medicine’s principles of a holistic approach to healing, I design each treatment to meet the individual needs of clients by combining therapies such as vocal sound healing, acupuncture and tui na, and ancillary techniques such as moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, cupping and guasha, as well as by providing dietary and lifestyle advice.

I treat a variety of conditions and take special interest in women’s health, in particular menstrual disorders, endometriosis, menopause, pregnancy and postnatal care, as well as mental-emotional health issues such as anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Teaching the art of medicine

Teaching and spreading the knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine is one my passions. I worked as a lecturer on the Acupuncture course and as an assistant clinical supervisor on the Tui Na course at the City College of Acupuncture (London), helping future practitioners to develop their practical skills and expand their knowledge about Acupuncture and Tui Na. I am also an active volunteer of the World Medicine Charity Organisation.

If you would like to connect with me for educational opportunities, please feel free to get in touch.
